Purification. Circulation. Illumination.

Halo is the best Air Purification system. The bladeless design houses a filter and motor to force a powerful Air Curtain that easily distributes air throughout any room. The high-grade aluminum chassis houses some of the coolest air circulation and purification tech ever designed.

A custom designed 2-stage filter is mounted just above the motor. A HEPA filter first removes almost all dust, pollen, and bacteria in the air. The Carbon Air Filter then traps odors. No more unwanted smells when cooking.

Looks aren't everything...
But we think they are.

Some people say Function is more important than Form. We say, is it too much to ask for both?

Halo uses proprietary manufacturing methods developed and engineered in house at Carbon Technologies. The chassis is made from high-grade aluminum with every part custom designed specifically for Halo. The most complex part  is the 4 foot wide Outer Ring. The Outer Ring is made in one piece by forming a custom-milled oversized circular sheet of metal over a 1000 pound steel block. This process is known as aluminum spinning and is used in the aviation industry. Doing this in one piece is significantly harder and more expensive but it avoids having connection seems on the surface. Instead, the outer ring is left to be one uninterrupted smooth piece of metal.

How Halo bladeless ceiling work
Hal sonic engine

The Sonic Engine is the heart of Halo. It is responsible for pushing the air through the entire enclosure and eventually out into the room. The Sonic Engine comprises of a impeller, a stator and other components, allowing it to be efficient and withstand high static pressure.
The size of the Sonic Engine and internal fan system is 8″ wide and is rated for 120 volts. The power consumption is only 100 watts, on its max speed. The impeller spins at a maximum of 3800 RPM, rapidly pulling in the surrounding air and pushing it through Halo until it exits into the room.

Air around the grill area of the fan gets sucked inside rapidly when the motor is turned on. The fast moving air finds its way into the Air Distribution System, which redirects the air to equally distribute into the 4 pipes.

Each pipe is used to move the air from the ADS to the Outer Ring. This widens the air output into the room so that it circulates the air in the room more evenly. And, it also mimics a similar size of air output to a conventional ceiling fan.

Lastly, the air travels around the Outer Ring. The pressure builds up in the Outer Ring which then forces the fast moving air to exit through the small aperture in the bottom, exiting into the room at 6 m/s.

Halo features a large dimmable 20” LED light. This is the largest light in any ceiling fan, rivaling even the light output of chandeliers. The ultra thin light panel is only 0.39” thick. It’s made from 2 layers of acrylic plates. One transparent plate to boost light output and one diffuser plate to create an even and smooth light across its surface.

The LED strip is extremely efficient requiring significantly less power than other types of lights while sustaining a higher peak brightness. Using the phone app, you can dim the light to any point to optimize the lighting in any room.

Easy Assembly
